Set of 2 Vietnam ERA USAF Air Force 47th Tactical Airlift Squadron (TAS) Flight Patch - A1136 First activated as the 47th Transport Squadron in June 1942 Active and inactive from 1942 to 1964 for various missions. The squadron was again active from 1964 to 1973, when it conducted airlift missions with Lockheed C-130 Hercules transports under Tactical Air Command, frequently deploying aircraft and crews to overseas locations. Redesignated 47th Tactical Airlift Squadron on 1 May 1967 Inactivated on 1 August 1973 Patch measures approximate: 4" Tall x 3.5" Wide This patch is in excellent condition for its age, never used.
