Set of 12 Lacquerware Bowls + Lids, Nishikawa Japan, Rice Miso Soup Bowl, orange, vintage - These feel too light to be plastic, and just different. I could be wrong. - These look hand-finished to me. The smudges and flecks seem like a tell. - Marked with gold paint stamp: Nishikawa Japan and dish logo - Bowls approximately 4.75 in. diameter, 2.25 in. tall CONDITION: HALF are unused, pristine and shiny. HALF have light wear, faint scuffs inside, a little dull, tiny nicks on rims; Imperfections in orange finish - faint black smudges, white flecks; 1 Bowl looks square-ish(?); Old dry sticker residue and stickers on bowl bottoms
