These are chicken hammers from Jade Restaurant in Hong Kong, China. Beggar's chicken is served in a hard shell and has to be broken with a hammer. It is traditional to give the customer a souvenir hammer.
This hammer is around four inches long and weighs 124 grams. It is solid brass. They are sometimes used as paper weights.
This was the hammer of the week in June 2013 in the Hammer museum.
