Set of 3 vintage Hummel figurines: 1. "The Baker," marked with the 1972 - 1979 Goebel W. Germany mark. A perfect gift for the baker/chef in your life. Approx Size: 4.5"h x 3" w Condition: Excellent, nicely painted, the white areas of the figurine have some crazing which is probably due to the glaze used and part of how it was made. Not noticeable except under strong light. There is a tiny fleabite along the back edge of the figures shirt, easily touched up if it bothers you. 2. "Brother," marked with the 1957 - 1967 Hummel W. Germany mark. This is an oversized Hummel (see photo for comparison.) Approx Size: 5.75"h x 2.5" w Condition: Excellent, nicely painted, no chips, cracks or crazing. 3. "The Happy Traveler," This is marked with the 1979 - 1990 W. Germany mark. I think this is signed on the bottom with the painters initials. Approx Size: 5"h x 3.5" w Condition: Excellent, nicely painted, no chips, cracks or crazing. There is a lightly discolored spot on the edge of the base where the former owner had a label. Keats said "A thing of beauty is a joy forever". Each of us has a different idea of what "beauty" is. I find unique vintage items and offer them to you, the beholder.
