Serengeti Drivers sunglasses by Corning Optics M. 5225R 62-14 135 JAPAN (C8-06)

Attention: This is a pair of vinatge sunglasses so expect wear accordingly. The glasses have spots on the lower area, looks like a clody section at bottom and also a few dots that seem like water stains but are not. Not sure if they can be cleaned, treated or just glasses replaced. But this pair is sold as is, as shown in photos and described. No case Vintage Serengeti 5225R Drivers sunglasses are one of the classic Serengeti styles of aviator sunglasses from the 1980s golden age of the company, when the lenses were still glass and still made by Corning Optics of Corning glass fame. The durable gold plated aviator frame is very well constructed and durable enough to hold the oversized aviator lenses, and the lens tint is a perfect color complement with the gold frame. The unisex Serengeti 5225 frame measures approximately 5.75" temple to temple, and the Corning glass lenses measure approximately 2.675" x 2.125" at the widest points. The inside of one stem is marked Serengeti Drivers 5225 while the inside of the other stem is marked Corning Optics (letters mostly faded away )and one ear pad is impressed Frame Japan, part of a great collection of 1980s and 1990s sunglasses in Malibu, California.
