Morgantown Peacock Crinkle Glass set of 10 dishes + 10 glasses (or sherbet dessert cups). Seneca Glass Company Morgantown, West Virginia Created from the El Mexicano molds and branded into the Crinkle design. Dates believed to be 1940s - 1971 (company closure). Beautiful set! Flawless EXCEPT 1 glass has a chip around the edge. 10 perfect plates and 9 perfect glasses. Last photo shows this. Think of it as a solid PERFECT set of 8 with bonus dishes in the event of breakage. This is a fabulous rare set of this many pieces. The plates are thicker and solid - really great quality. The glasses are more delicate and need to be handled with care. This is a beautiful collectible antique vintage set that can still be used today. They can probably go in the dishwasher but I don’t know for sure - never put them in there. Maybe the plates could because they’re less likely to chip vs. the glasses. But they are microwave safe - I have put a couple of these in the microwave with no issue. Dimensions: Plates: 8.5” diameter Goblet cups/dessert cups: 3” tall and rim is 3 5/8” diameter. Measurements are approximate. From a smoke free home.
