makersgirl78Hi! Welcome!! One tip I have for you is you flat lays.. its hard sometimes to get clothes to lay out correctly and they can look jumbled. Try hanging them on a clean looking hanger in front of a crisp white wall or sheet (no wrinkles) show the item from each side and take a good clear picture of every tag in the garment. Your cover shot is what gets someone to look further at the article. Make it count! 😊😊 I follow as many resellers on Instagram and always find good tips!

fadedblue77If an item isn't colorful, add color behind it (throws/fabric from the clearance table). Black makes colors pop. Flat lay photos ok, but some things don't look good flat, no matter how you arrange. Buy a mannequin, bring clothes to life (inexpensive on Amazon/eBay). Add accessories, then sell in a separate ad! Lots going for you already--larger sizes, uncluttered photos, competitive prices. Experiment, never let it become a chore. Have fun, make it fun for buyers. Wish you much success!

poshkvivesHi there another suggestion could be how you lost your items, put the brand in front and then the what it is that you are selling that helps a lot specially if there are people looking for a specific brand. Also keep following people and share your closet a lot. It takes time but it’s rewarding. Hope this helps!

bluecircle21519Hi Chris! I just realized you joined my follow game, sorry I didn’t acknowledge you sooner! One tip I got from people when I decided to put effort into my closet was to do the “30MM”. Google that and it’ll pull up a ton of info on there. Some sellers swear by it! Good luck!🍀

korabethEverything already said plus this: A Positive Attitude! When you're taking pics, be happy, have fun, enjoy! If its drudgery, it will come through in your tone and verboage. Be Kind, in all of your dealings and comments. Share with good intentions. Both for your own items and for others. Not a chore, but a gift. You’re fairly new, so Poshmark will make you more visible when you first start, as a way to entice you to stay = $ in THEIR pockets!! Then, they get you hooked and you aren’t as visible anymore. This is where the real work begins! Sorry!

And since I included @callie2 in the conversation, you must have joined years ago, but just started selling recently? A possible explanation for your slowdown is a LOT of Poshers won’t share or buy from Non Compliant closets. Just a thought. Maybe do a little cleanup and then push push push your name out there.
