Seashell copper plated ring size 6.5

A cute little ring that has been handcrafted from a ring base and a reclaimed piece of abalone shell from a broken piece of jewelry. Ring is an upcycled piece of mosaic art that can be worn daily. This ring was made doing the electro forming copper plating method. The shell carries various colors and reminds you of the ocean. It's wrapped in a darkened copper border, coming in at size 6.5. The copper has been electroplated to the ring over a long time, takes anywhere from 4-24 hours. Next a patinated is added then polished and sealed. This piece makes a great gift or a great addition to an outfit and is also unisex. Recycled parts : recycled copper water pipes were used in the plating process.
