Hand-thrown stoneware bowl from a North Carolina estate known for Seagrove pottery, conveying the region’s long tradition of salt- and ash-glazed wares. The exterior shows a tactile ash-drip oatmeal glaze over iron stoneware, while the interior moves from misty celadon to teal at the rim—colors prized by Seagrove studio potters since the late 20th century. Likely crafted c. 1980s–2000 by a Seagrove shop potter (round “TB” chop to side wall). Generous, display-worthy size—ideal for fruit or a table centerpiece. Measures 12.5x4.25".
Condition: sound and clean; wheel and kiln speckling, a few tiny glaze pinholes/uneven drips at rim; typical of handmade studio work. No cracks, chips, or repairs.
