Sculpted Reclining Mermaid with Shells on Oval Carved Soapstone Trinket Dish This is a magical Sculpted Reclining Mermaid/Sea Nymph with Shells on an Oval Carved Soapstone Trinket Dish. The Mermaid is intricately sculpted in a reclining position on the edge of the rocks or shore with her long hair and flowing body draped on the edge. There are lavender colors that swirl around the piece. The outer circumference is covered with sculpted scallop shells with swirls on each side. The bowl measures approximately 9" across by 6.5" wide by 3.5" high and is in great vintage condition with no visible anomalies. It is signed on the front and dated 1991. This piece would make a lovely trinket dish, planter, decor on a dinner party table or a potpourri/ornament filled accent.
