Schmidt Rhea Ocean Wave spiral twist art glass paperweight Color: Blue & Clear Measurements: 3.25”H x 4.5”W Michael Schmidt and Sonia Rhea met in California during a Raku Ceramics Festival while they were students at San Francisco State University. They began collaborating shortly there after. They moved to the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and built a studio on their property, where their collaborative work focused on colorful, contemporary paperweights in unusual shapes and beaded glass jewelry. They now reside in Arizona and Mexico.
