shopretrobabe @cldr82 A posher and I decided to trade for her camera. I didn't have anything the same price, so I let her pick things that was worth her camera and we were suppose to send out the next day. Well, I did my part, but after I sent, she deleted her account and email address and basically disappeared... And I can''t get in contact with her even today..

tinktink03 A person on here named kthuggg scammed me. She offered to trade my laptop for her ipad mini. And silly me...I sent her my laptop and she never sent the ipad mini. she recvd my laptop on last saturday. she hasnt given me my tracking number and now no longer responds to my posts. just wanted to warn you so u won't make the same mistake I did. pepermintpatty6 i glad i found this. i just joined this site last night and still dont know how everything works but i will write the names down mentioned above so i do not deal with them in any way. i prob wont do much trading if any because i am more of a buyer than a seller so my closet on here will remain empty most of the time while my closet at home gets biger lol. i do have a question is there ways i can be scammed as a buyer and what do i need to do to protect myself. and as far as im concerned whats happened to you guys is not scamming its strait up stealing and these people must be of a lower life form to steal used clothing and other items makes you wonder if they rob the goodwill and steal from the homeless. i have seen a lot of items on this site r next to new or new with tags still on it but you guys are not a store or a corporation that can write off losses like that. i guess im done with my rant so have a good weekend.

shopretrobabe @pepermintpatty6 yes! People who scam are low. The only thing I can tell you to protect yourself from scammers as a buyer is to only buy off here. When you buy off here, the seller's profit is on a hold until you get and are satisfied with your item(s) (: if you are not satisfied with the item someone sent you, contact Poshmark within 3 days when they delivered the package and let them know. They will refund if they see fit (: but if you are satisfied then you can "accept item" and you released the funds to the seller (:
