It’s constant. They get mad when called out. They know the rules but as long as buyers buy the counterfeit items, they keep selling. I’ve contacted LV and a federal agency regarding the over abundance of it on Poshmark since it is against federal law to buy and sell counterfeit merchandise. LV has been very interested. I report every one I see.

I've seen several cancel because they claim they do not have a printer to print poshmark labels and want the buyer to just pay them through other apps. One even told them posh fees were too high and tried to get the buyer to wire them the money. Especially the ones who price below $500 and offer a 21 day authenticity gaurentee. Look at the solds a lot of times you will see them give out their phone # asking buyers to contact them directly because there is a problem with shipping.

I love the ones that state “It was a gift”. 😆 Yeah right. Or when you comment that it’s a fake. The “how do you know?” question is just irritating. If you don’t know what you’re selling, don’t sell it! This happens on Coach and Dooney constantly and they’re are always so blatantly obvious. 😡🤬. Wish posh had some kind of way to catch it while they’re listing like other sites do. 😞

I'm one of those people who don't know enough about real vs. fake and I REALLY DO appreciate when you all give a heads up about a fake!! I've learned so much about LV in the short time I've been looking at Poshmark. This is exactly what makes me nervous, that I won't realize it's a fake. Honestly, Poshmark authenticaters are not the best. They messed up a 800.00 sale for me. I have a Charles & Colvard 2carat heart shaped ring I paid over 1000.00 for, sold it, sent it, was supposedly “authenticated “ by posh “experts”, and they said it was not real and cancelled the whole sale! So don’t place all your faith in these people.

And another thing, I stupidly did a trade a while ago with @MCSCAR, she’s a huge scammer and I sent her item and she never sent me anything, so eventually I got pissed and told her off with swear words, so they shut MY ACCOUNT down! And now I can’t list new items or buy anything! So very strange. I spent a fortune on here buying things so they are only hurting themselves. Very very strange. Protect yourself, always videotape from packing up item to sending at post office.

With that said always look for red flags. If they ignore questions or won’t post a pic of the date code move on. @chars69 Well Posh automatically authenticates all sales over $500 so if it’s fake it won’t pass inspection and the buyer will be refunded and bag will be sent back and her account closed. If she is indeed scamming they will also close her account. Looks like the one gal hasn’t been active on her account in over 21 hours so it could be that she just hasn’t seen the the questions yet. @jkuliyeva I always ask lots of questions and watch for red flags. If they won’t respond properly to questions and can’t provide proof then I’m moving on. Also I always tell buyers if the price seems too good to be true it usually means it’s fake. I have a team I work with who are official designer authenticators and get paid for it. They are my go to before I buy now. Sorry you got scammed. Sucks when that happens. Luckily I’ve always had great luck with buying and selling my LV on here.

Know. But I would make take videos and pictures of all imperfections for picky buyers just in case. Buyer will have only 3 days to return and it has to be damn good reason and if it’s not posh will decline the return request. Hope it helps

@hanianyc It's real! Poshmark verified it, but when I saw there was no serial number I had doubts and had a well-respected appraiser authenticate it. She told me there wasn't a serial number because it's from the 70s. And it's not a Trocadero, but a Compiegne 23. I was very surprised because it's in great condition. I have it listed for sale if you want to take a look. Someone must have thrown it in a drawer and barely used it.

HiFound this thread and just had to respond. In the last few weeks there have been hundreds of fake user accounts popping up (all fake name with one listing which is a designer bag) all a scam. All are reusing the same photos with a bag, box, tags and someone wearing gloves. All accounts have exactly 141 people they are ‘following’ and all listing are being posted on different brands, mostly common ones like FP, Zara, Marc Jacobs, etc..

Just a quick update i got the wallet from this chick
@lanetteureno7 and it was the worst fake wallet i have ever seen it was plastic. Shes now making up texts that i said this and thay and claims her wallet is authentic poshmark is working to get my refund of this horrible wallet but shes argueing back in forth in the comments with the reps lol

I just bought a fake LV bag from a posher who got mad that I didn't ask more questions about the bag. I opened the case, sent photos of fake details and Poshmark canceled the order, returned my money and asked to destroy and dispose the fake item, so I happily did.I believe that scammers should not get their fake items back and try to sell again to another person.

Come on people do you really believe you are getting a $2,000.00 Louis Vuitton bag for $325 dollars or less. This is a counterfit product. Penalties can include jail time and restitution of up to $500,00 or more for sellers.Buying fakes can result in civil or criminal penalties. Report the fakes
