Upon the albums release, Bill Pearis of Brooklyn Vegan called this yet another stunner from the group that is a joyous rumination on faith. Sault is a mysterious UK-based collective blending soul, funk, gospel, R&B, Afrobeat, and politically charged lyrics. Their genre-defying sound is rhythmic, minimalist, and deeply groove-driven.
