Sarah Coventry Necklace Chain A Bead
Seven Graduated Shiny Gold Tone Sliding Ball Beads
Book piece page 111 in Identifying Sarah Coventry Jewelry by Sandra Sturdivant
Name - Chain A Bead
Introduced in 1982
Number 8644
From the book: This was called Add A Bead Chain in 1980 and then the name changed in 1982 to Chain A Bead Chain. Available beads included Simulated Pearls, Graduated Beads, Gold Tone Graduated and Regular Size Beads. All beads came in packages of six for making many different combinations.
The chain and clasp are quite thin as this allowed the beads to be taken off, rearranged, and new beads to be added.
The necklace closure is like a box clasp.
