This is a Sarah Coventry "Golden Ice" 3-strand necklace featuring clear faceted Lucite beads and a gold-tone rope chain. The necklace was introduced in 1976. It is considered a "book piece" and is mentioned in several jewelry reference books. The two outer strands feature clear, faceted plastic (lucite) beads strung on a gold-tone cord or wire, which is visible through the beads and gives them an icy appearance. The center strand is a thick, twisted gold-tone rope chain.
