The inside of the toe area is lined with leather at the toe opening with leather insole lining. I do see a very small area on the front of the left shoe at toe tip area where the material has a small circle that has a peel, material is still attached. Also on the back of the right shoe there is a scratch on the heel. There is wear on the bottoms but overall these are very nice, versatile shoes.
