Santa and his forest friends are at the post that says December. On that signpost is a metal hook that holds in number plaque. There are 24 little square-shaped disks with holes that are kept in the drawer with the red handle. Santa keeps track of how many days until December 24th. When you pull open the drawer as long as the key on the backside of the box is wound, it will play Santa Claus is coming to town. There is shimmery glitter on the pine trees and the snow on the ground glistens. The pieces are very nicely painted. A very heartwarming piece to have on display to prepare for the holiday season.
