Sample, size 12, Alvina Valenta, ivory dress

Alvina Valenta style a9005 sample gown, size 12 (I usually wear a 10 in dresses), ivory, needs minor repairs - some of the petals in the flower on the hip needs to be tacked back down, and one skirt pickup needs to be sewn back into place. My bridal seamstress said this dress is impeccable & the repairs are minor. It has an asymmetrical waist, which makes the dress very slimming, this dress is made of a SILK blend ($$$ so it naturally breathes with the season), lace is sewn to underskirt, classic, extremely well made dress! No alterations have been made; decided on something else due to being slightly too formal for our venue (venue changed due to the pandemic). Before changing dress directions, I was considering adding straps to this dress! It’s one of the things that caught my attention with this dress, is that due to its timeless look, I could add my own extra details to personalize it. I considered adding some bling to it by adding sparkly straps or a Pearl and bling delicate belt (making the flower look like it was part of my belt).
