What does AA mean?

@samhitam 2 AA means the width of the shoe is narrower than a medium or B. A is a little less wide, AA is narrower than A, AAA is supposed to be even more narrow. I have never found that these letters mean anything for me. The brands of shoes that fit me go from Size 6 to 7 1/2. Sometimes a size six gaps when I walk while trying them on. Italian shoes are different than American made shoes; it is a puzzle to most people.If you are interested, I can measure the shoe for length, and width!
