ClimaDry waterproofing includes fully taped seams to ensure dry times on snowy sidewalks, and split suede leather gives the upper extra protection. Faux fur lines the Hime's interior for improved insulation as well as a little après style. The non-marking ContaGrip sole utilizes a hard rubber compound to give it a good grip on ice, and the gusseted tongue keeps snow, dirt, and debris out of the boot. Salomon also added a layer of injected EVA for stability and a layer of molded EVA for cushion.
