Antique Japanese porcelain sake decanter from the Taisho Era. Made of fine porcelain, the imagery features a beautiful water scene under a golden moon with cranes, which are traditional motifs in Japanese art.
From the Taisho period (1912-1926), known for its artistic styles, these traditional carafes were used for serving sake, Japanese rice wine.
Approximately 9" high and 3" wide, this is a stunning example of Japanese porcelain.
