This Sachin + Babi "Rose" (BHLDN/Anthropologie retail) is a gorgeous, beautifully flowing, etherial full length/maxi dress. Base color is a true light dusty blue, and the flowers are slightly less "dusty"/less gray in the shade, but overall effect is still very much a dusty blue. Wear it with or without the included cape. Cape can be tied around the neck or to the back spaghetti straps. Gauzy/crepey and lightweight, but not see through thanks to a great incorporated lining. The fabric feels high end, but has the added benefit of not being quite as finicky as silk or linen. Empire waist, and the entire top all the way around is micro pleated with a slight billow- perfect for creating a nip in your silhouette and beautiful for both small and large chests. I wore this dress as Maid of Honor in my sister's wedding without the cape, and got so many compliments (I'm 5'4" 144 lb, mid-large chest). I'm on the short side and the dress was a good length with heels on, but is typically not supposed to completely touch the ground. Size says 6, but I am typically an 8/10 in street clothes and sometimes 12 in bridalwear, but it fit me well. Maybe a tiny bit snug around the chest, but you'd never know because of the overlay, and it didn't bother me much. I also had my tailor shorten the straps because of this, but as you can see they are just tacked and can easily be undone completely. The previous owner (I bought this on Poshmark) said she bought it new and wore it once before me.
