This listing is for a vintage Steinbach nutcracker S-832, King Arthur of Camelot, handcrafted in Germany. He stands about 12” and is in very good, gently used condition. He pairs well with Sir Lancelot which is shown in the images but not included. Sir Lancelot is available though. PLEASE NOTE: This listing does include the original box. Which has some old tape and damage but very sturdy. This nutcracker will be very carefully packed for shipping. This includes the original, in-opened incense cones but I can not guarantee what they smell like since they have aged so many years. Can be used as decoration, or incense burner. Makes a great Holiday Display. When lit, smoke will come out of the mouth of the man. Instructions: Gently pull off legs, place incense cone in metal holder, make sure it is room between the metal and the incense. Light the incense. While gently pressing the clamps together, put the top back on the legs. Then watch the fragrant puffs of smoke roll out of it's mouth. They are hand crafted wooden smokers from the Erzgebirge region of Germany . Hand turned, assembled and painted. Legend has it, the burning of the incense dates back to the offerings of the Magi. They would burn the incense to warn off evil spirits.
