juligems I have a question - you also have an Arena listed in size 24 BUT usually the size a swimmer wears in Arena they wear a size down in speedo. So how come both are a size 24?

cathleenn @juligems Hi! I bought this speedo when I was a bit younger and the Arena when I was older so I needed a bigger size in the Arena because I changed in size a bit.

juligems @cathleenn that still doesn't make sense. generally when my daughter was a 20 in speedo she was a 22 in arena. in any case what size practice suit did you wear when you used the Arena techsuit?

cathleenn @juligems This particular speedo doesn’t have bonded seams and I found it was not very stretchy so I decided to get a size 24 as that is what fit me best. About a year later, I got the Arena which has bonded seams and the fabric of Arenas in my experience is a bit stretchy and easier to get on. I had previously gotten a 26 in an Arena which was much too big so I went with the 24 which fit me well. I wore a size 28 in jolyns for practice.

cathleenn @juligems Additionally, my body might be proportionally different to your daughters so I may have had to account for those differences by ordering a different size than is the norm. For example I had bigger thighs in proportion to my torso so I had to account for that in the size I would choose for my suits.

juligems @cathleenn I understand. believe me I've been buying techsuits for her for years. I am actually not interested in this speedo, it's the arena I was considering. she is a 22 in speedo elite & Valor, a 23 in racer X. was trying to determine area size

cathleenn @juligems I haven’t been swimming for a while now so I’m kind of out of touch with the different types of tech suites and their fits. I can let you my rough measurements when I wore the arena: I was 5’6” and about 130lbs. I thought the suit fit me very well when I was that size. Hopefully that helps!
