SONY SRS-11 Stereo Active Speaker System for Walkman UNTESTED

SONY SRS-11 Stereo Active Speaker System for Walkman Measures 4 1/2” wide and 2 3/4” tall. The speakers have a 3.5mm audio input for connectivity and are wired. They are identified by the model SRS-11. Batteries are not included. NO cords included. Condition: This is listed under for parts/nonworking as I don’t have a banana jack to test. However, when I inserted the batteries, I did hear a static sound which may indicate working order. The battery compartment has slight corrosion which I photo above.
