@adamsfall I have no idea how old these are as they were my fathers who passed away in June. These appear to be the original soles, as a google search for timberland earth keepers shows the same stitching and sole pattern. He had a ton of shoes and boots and kept them in great condition. It is possible he produced the distressed look some how. Im not really sure of the story, but I do know they look awesome and are one of the most comfortable shoes/boots I have ever tried on.
