@eastcoastcloset thank you for your interest! I am the same size and I remember when I wore them, I remember liking the fit of the 7-1/2 much better. I bought the size 8 because I loved the chains and wanted the black bootie also and the size 8 was all they had left. So definitely the 7-1/2 :)
