SOLD- Vintage Dooney & Bourke Drawstring Bucket Bag

My grandmothers beautiful Dooney and Bourke bag, in a gorgeous rich brown color. She must have really loved this bag or it was a recent acquisition that she was excited about at the time, because she stored it up and away from all of her other purses, on the top shelf of her purse storage cabinet, looking down on all it surveyed. I would keep this bag in memory of her, but it just isn’t the style of purse I carry, so it would be wasted on me. I would like for it to find a nice new home with someone who will love it and use it and appreciate it. As you can see from the photos, the bag does have some scratches and scuffs here and there and also a pen must have leaked on the inside sometime during its life, but I think it still looks very nice. If I’m looking at the right bag, vintagedooney.com says that this was from their Bayou collection, released in 1999, and it is calfskin leather imprinted with an alligator pattern.
