@ovmelgoza hey! I would like to re-measure the ring as I am wondering if this is actually closer to an 8.5! 🧐See the picture with the measurement on the ring mandrel. As for your question, I personally did not feel like I needed to go up due to the band, but I do believe there are some people who might feel that way for comfort when hands/fingers swell. Let me know if you have any more questions!
