*SOLD* Antique Ladakhi Bedouin filigree amulet pendant ball & bar link necklace

Offered is an antique Bedouin long-wear filigree necklace of Ladakhi Silver. The traditional Indian Buddhist style amulet pendant is hung with dangling bells. It has elaborate filigree displayed in an open-work mandala and is surrounded further by hand-soldered overlapping concentric loops and a finely sculpted border. The pendant drops from a unique ball and bar link necklace chain with intricate round swirling filigree spacer ball beads. The Bedouin was a traditional Yemenite dowry piece offered a bride, generally by tradition to be melted down upon her death. Metal purity is untested.
