might be a dumb question, but are you supposed to wear this under something or can you wear it by itself?

@rubybeey It is considered shapewear, ,Spanx has come out with many outer wear items.But I would wear it under a sweater or blouse. I do know some really skinny girls who probably would wear it the other way, making sure the lace shows. Claudia Ps Not a stupid question either!
