I bought this with it being bulletproof in mind! The coated canvas is perfect to resist spills! I travel quite a bit and needed to cut down on what I'm carrying through an airport. This was perfect compared to lugging a suitcase. I can fit a few file folders, my iPad, make up, cell phone, USB, etc. It has one large zippered outside pocket. The main compartment is also zippered to protect your belonging. There are also four inside pockets, with one being zippered. Amazing go-to bag!
