imlexyrose @kiwisgb80 hi. according to the care instructions on the sleeping bag, it is machine washable. it does not come with a carrying case but it has velcro straps on the outside (red part) to hold the sleeping bag together when it is folded like you see in the photo. hope this helps! :)
