SEIEI & Co. 1930s Ducks in a Row Wide Dish Bowl Hand Painted Lustreware Japanese
This is a darling antique lustreware bowl of ducks or geese, in a repeating, open work pattern around the entire bowl. The “fowl” on this “bowl” (gotta love the English language!), are white with orange beaks and orange with blue beaks. They are all merrily swimming on a lustre blue base.
If you need help getting your ducks in a row, this is the perfect item to start you on your way! Great for holding potpuri, a key catch, or even a planter or dish for bulb forcing.
The bottom is marked with a raised star in the centre and the SEIEI & Co. mark of a bird inside a circle.
NOTE: There is a crack on the underside of the curve that goes all the way through.
