**Temporary Sale! $20 Off** I finally took this to my appraiser and he had a hard time determining that it was gold-filled and not solid gold. He had to put the gun to it. That's how well made it is! I forgot to ask how many karat's so I have dropped the price from $95 to $55. Here is a rare vintage yellow gold-filled engraved initial “D” pendant locket with two photo windows. It is on a beautiful French rope chain. There is no fastener it goes over the head. The bezel on the locket and the chain dates it to no earlier than 1978. It’s rare because I can’t find this locket anywhere! It is oval-shaped and has a brushed gold design around the script initial on the front with a textured design on the back. It opens to reveal two photo windows inside. Both photo bezels are present. There is a yellow stain on one side, so I took the photo bezel and plastic cover out and it is the paper that is stained and not the plastic cover so a picture will hide the stained paper. This is from my mom’s estate and this is not one of her initials so she never wore it. Just collected it because it is not only rare but also beautiful! The pictures don't do justice to it!! The locket is 1” by 3/4”. The chain has a 13 ½” hang. It is unmarked. Please see pics.
