Ruth Saltz Purse Black Snakeskin Shoulder Bag Vintage Retro 1980s

Preowned, vintage purse designed by Ruth Saltz, most likely in the 1980s. Made from glossy black snakeskin, it features a chain strap and hinged opening. The interior is lined in satin with the designers logo throughout. Retro fabulous and 80s chic! Stamped RUTH SALTZ on the interior lining. Approximate measurements: 9.5in x 8.5in H x 1in D with a 15in chain drop (can also be adjusted by doubling the chain for carry by hand). Preowned/vintage (40+ years old) with some signs of age, use and prior wear: some wrinkles to snakeskin, light lifting of scales in places; interior clean. Note that the chain is two different colors - gold and silver - not sure if this was adjusted aftermarket or if it was designed this way (see last image).
