Ruth Hornbein long‎ cardigan sweater. VINTAGE

Vintage 80s sweater by Ruth Hornbein depicting a black and white cat on a red background. Hornbein was New York based; she designed sweaters for women and children and often used animal motifs. The sweater has no tag aside from the name, but it is a cotton or cotton blend. Plaid knitted collar and cuffs. Good condition. Medium weight knit. Looks like the sweater used to have a button closure. But the buttons have been removed. There are still loops so buttons could be added, or the loops could be removed. Measures 30” long, 17” pit to pit, 14" Cute and rare.
