Vintage Large Artist Signed ( bottom right ) and titled ( top middle ) Russian Enameled Lacquer Box . Condition is Used. The piece appears to depict a royal wedding as its central image followed by 8 unique motifs around the lacquer box showing the lives of each thereafter the wedding. Given it is an octagonal shaped box each side illustrates a different point in time in the life of the king and queen. This is a very large box. Artist signed on lid. Approximately 4” tall with an 8” diameter from base. Legged. Weighs approximately 1lb 10oz. Box is in good condition. Shows some light crazing and wear due to age. A couple light dents and scratches. The back of the box shows a little exposed glue poss lacquer loss but hinges work great And functions perfectly.
