Russian Lacquered Trinket Box ~ Hand-painted (?) ~ Pretty! A lovely contemporary item for your collection. Blue sky and white multi-domed building depicted on lid, scroll-like detail frames the image. Appears hand-painted imagery on lid, along with possibly the name of the structure in Russian. The green lacquered part of the box is a lovely marbleized-looking light wood. Interior as pictured, clean and ready to store your treasures, or maybe a special gift. Was perhaps a souvenir item or purchased at international wares store? Original tag intact on the underside. Part of estate lot purchase, I never displayed it.
