Beautiful rug, only used for 3 months but decided to get a puppy so we removed it before any accidents could happen! We used the door indoor as can be seen in the picture with no ruggable rug pad and it was perfect. It is 8x10 and pretty heavy so we really didnt see a use for the rug pad. Cleans well with vacuum but you could also machine wash.
