Rugby Ralph Lauren long wool princess coat

This stunning coat from Rugby Ralph Lauren Holiday 2012 is done in 100% wool, with 100% cotton velvet trim and a cupro lining. The style is a fit-and-flare princess cut and reminds me so much of Catherine, Princess of Wales’ style. It is a beautiful multi-toned brown with some olive tones. The basting stitch at the back flap is still intact. There are two minor flaws, a very small hole on one shoulder and another near the collar, which I have shown in the last two photos. I am not an expert in mending, but I think it would be possible to mend if that is your preference. Despite the minor flaws, this level of craftsmanship and style is hard to find these days. This coat would be a gorgeous addition to the equestrian/preppy/British country wardrobe that is popular this autumn/winter, while the timelessness and quality will last for decades. (Also, this exact coat is for sale on another website for over $1,500!). Given the nature of the fabric, thank you for understanding that this garment might arrive with some lint.
