Ruehl No.925 Leather Tote – Abercrombie & Fitch Legacy Line

A classic Ruehl No.925 leather tote in their warm tan. Ruehl was Abercrombie & Fitch’s short-lived, higher-end leather and apparel line — a West Village–inspired “grown up” brand they ran from 2004 to 2010. Their bags were known for full-grain leather, heavy stitching, and quietly premium construction, and they’ve become hard to find because the line was discontinued so quickly. This tote has that soft, broken-in feel Ruehl bags age into. I cleaned the exterior and interior with Saphir Omni-Nettoyant and conditioned the leather with Saphir Macadamia Oil, which brought back the color and suppleness without changing the original finish. I also added a metal zipper pull since the original leather tassel wasn’t very functional. There are a few marks from past use — small ink spots near the top seam and light scuffs on the body — all photographed. The interior has a faint pen mark but is otherwise clean. For a mid-2000s Ruehl piece, the condition is solid and the leather has held up beautifully. A roomy, easygoing everyday tote from one of Abercrombie’s most collectible eras.
