Rudy Escalera "Special Delivery" 1st Christmas Series Porcelain Plate 1982 Boxed

New in Box, mint condition. This plate is from an original painting by Rudy Escalera, and was the first in an annual series of limited edition porcelain Christmas plates. The subject and inspiration of this piece was his first grandchild Regina, who he witnessed reaching for the doorbell of his home. The plate was made by Catalina Porcelain, a division of Hackett American Collectors Co. It is #4483 out of 19500 and measures approx 8.5" diameter.
