Rude Osolnik - "Osolnik Originals Walnut" Biomorphic Hand Turned Walnut Bowl

Offering this mid-century walnut bowl by American woodturning master Rude Osolnik, 20th century. Rude Osolnik ( 1915-2001 ) was widely admired as one of the finest wood turners in America, his workshops and seminars were in demand worldwide. A stunning presence with graceful design that would add warmth and charm to any rooms display. Measurements listed are approximate* due to the wonderful irregular shape of this bowl. See photos

 Description This mid-century walnut bowl was hand-turned by Rude Osolnik. Hand signed artisan signature on the bottom "Osolnik Originals Walnut" Condition As seen in the photos, the finish is sadly flawed. Studying the photographs may be helpful. Most obviously wear to the sealer at upper and distal base edges. This bowl is in the same condition as when I first acquired it. I have made no attempts to polish, seal or wax the bowl. Been in sealed storage out of sunlight. Unsure about requirements for restoration so presentation shown in natural daylight is without any polish or waxing in attempt to do no harm.
