Vintage Royal Doulton Toby Character Jug- 2-1/4" - Fat Boy - D6142 - Charles Dickens Pickwick Papers The ever adorable little Toby Character Jugs are fun to collect and display. This one was designed after the Pickwick Papers by Charles Dickens. The "Fat Boy" with his round face, rosey cheeks and buttoned waistcoat. It is made of Porcelain and is only 2-1/4" high and 2-1/4" from the end of the spout to the end of then handle. His name 'FAT BOY" is embossed in the back in the blue of his waistcoat. He is marked on the bottom "Royal Doulton" with the lion and crown and the letter "A" dating it between 1939-1955 with the number "14" hand written on the side of the marking in red. He is in excellent condition without any nicks, chips or repairs nor any crazing.
