Royal Copenhagen Tenera Vase by Inge-Lise Koefoed

This striking mid-century vase from Royal Copenhagen’s celebrated Tenera series features a bold hand-painted motif of stylized “eyes” in deep cobalt blue, soft cream, and earthy burgundy tones. Designed by Danish artist Inge-Lise Koefoed, the vase showcases her signature modernist aesthetic. Marked w/Royal Copenhagen’s 3 wavy lines, the Aluminia faience stamp & Koefoed’s artist monogram on the base, along w/the model number 128/2886 & decorator’s number “4.” This is an excellent example of Scandinavian studio pottery, highly collectible, it embodies the artistic spirit & craftsmanship of 1960s Denmark.
