Hans Christian Anderson Royal Copenhagen Plate Plate celebrates the famous fairy tale “The Emperor’s New Clothes.” White porcelain with gold gilt surrounding the circumstance of the plate. Gold gilt had an elaborate decorative design with swans, flowers, birds and butterflies. All colors vibrant. Designed by Pauline Ellison in 1975. Condition is in excellent previously owned condition. No cracks, chips or repairs. Colors of images are vibrant. All gold gilt is intact. Back shows the number edition number and artist’s signature as Royal Copenhagen Stamp and signature wave logo.
