Royal Bonn Germany Pierced Vanity Tray 11” Floral Gilt Corset Stay Holder

Rare antique pierced porcelain tray by Royal Bonn, Germany, dated c. late 1800s–early 1900s. Measures approximately 10.75" long x 6.5" wide x 0.5" tall with ornate Rococo-style edging, pierced cutouts, and delicate floral sprays with gold gilt trim. In excellent antique condition. No chips or cracks but there is some scuffing to the bottom and a few speckles in the finish (see photos). Light crazing and wear to the gilt consistent with age. Possibly used as a corset stay holder, hairpin tray, soap drainer, or perfume bottle drip tray. The piercings may have served to allow ventilation to vanity items. A matching larger tray may have originally served as its base—see my other listings for a coordinating piece. Together, they create a beautiful layered look. I have included pictures of the two pieces together in this listing. This smaller tray does not fit perfectly, in that it wobbles a bit, but it otherwise matches.
