Round Handcrafted Shellacked Basket

I bought this basket too on a trip to Costa Rica back in 1980’s and have kept it stored and never displayed ever since. Time to let someone else that has the space to use it! It’ll last generations because it’s made with a rare tree and has been treated so it’ll never flake or crack! I’m not sure of the reason for the cut out portion it was just too long ago! Handle doesn’t stand up on its own but I bet if you tightened the bolts on either side it would! Please use buy now option because I am not giving discount offers for this. It’s really hard to let it go and I priced it at half of what I actually paid. Many hours of prep of the stems and then weaving too!
